Sweatin’ for a Start Charity Bike Ride

On July 12th, 2015, the Trustees of the Anxiety & Depression Initiative embarked on a considerable challenge to bike 82.2 miles of the NY State Bike Route 9. This was not a random decision to do so. It was an act specifically intended to show their appreciation for all of the generous donations made to help the ADI to get a strong start as a non-profit organization dedicated to promote and support the use of physical activity to combat the symptoms of anxiety and depression. In this campaign, over $3,000 was raised to help us to get our community outreach programs up and running. This incredible outpouring of support for the ADI’s mission has touched all of us.

While the ride is over, the need for support is not. You can still donate and help The ADI in carrying out its very important mission  –> CLICK HERE TO DONATE

In addition to the financial support, we want to give special thanks to Bicycle Tech in Lincoln Park, NJ for donating the use of a road bike for over a month. Check out their website at: www.bicycletechonline.com

We would also like to thank our good friend Joe Dominguez for his livery service, some spectacular photography and drone support. Check out some of Joe’s great photography at: www.onemoreclimb.com

Here are some pictures that were taken along our 82.2mile journey..
